Banks Gunsmithing was established in 2017 with one mission: to bring a real, high quality gunsmithing shop to the Central Arkansas area. Our passion for excellence is what inspired us in the beginning, and it continues to drive us today. We pride ourselves in the superior experience in our gunsmithing shop, and in the long-term relationships we've built with our customers. #1 General clean

#2 Full Clean and Detailing

  • Disassemble completely and Clean 
  • Inspect for Wear
  • Detail metal for looks and cold blue touch up
  • Detail Wood for scratches and dings and touch up 
  •  Check for safety
  • Endoscope Barrel for damage and wear
  • reassemble 
  • Test fire and reclean
  • Get general history of gun and any recalls

#3 Complete Hot Blue and Refinish

Strip Metal- remove all metal imperfections that we can safely, Polish and RE-Blue all steel parts and color non steel parts. Strip Wood down, sand to remove as many imperfections that we can, Stain the wood, Clean up checkering and refinish wood. Discounted price for Composite stocks.

ADD-ONS for all options

  • from a 400  finish to a 600  finish _____________add $100.00
  • hot bluing of individual parts _________________add  $25.00
  • Complete re-cutting of Checkering, deep lines and sharpening to points ____________________________add $40. per hour
  • Jeweling of bolts and other parts as well ___add $40. per hour
